She said YES!!! | Central Park Engagement | DeRidder, Louisiana
Over the last weekend, we took a last minute trip to New York City. One of our last weekends here in New York and what better way to spend it than with great friends and NEW YORK CITY!?! Although it was frigid cold the entire time we were there, we still made the best of it and had a fantastic time! By the way, if you find yourself with children in New York City, with no warm clothes (warm enough for brutal winds) or a blanket TJ Maxx is not the route you should take to find these items.. As awesome as TJ Maxx is, and I mean awesome, the one in the city does not cary children’s anything. We were lucky and on the way out Gary found a nice fluffy throw to wrap our little one in. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
Originally, Gary was going to propose to Jennifer on the Brooklyn Bridge by “locking in their love together”, but the weather put a detour on those plans. With wind gust of 25-35 mph Gary would have found his self on the front page of the New York Times as that fella who dropped his engagement ring.. On top of Jen mentioning that she must have fallen from a massive bridge in her past life, because she was terrified of high bridges. High winds and a fear of heights probably wouldn’t have went over too well….
We played it safe and headed to Central Park where it was still freezing cold, but Gary managed to nervously get down on one knee and ask Jenny to be his forever soulmate. SHE SAID YES!!! This weekend was an incredible weekend in more than a few ways. We got to see one of the most incredible cities in America and I also got to capture an amazing time in our friends life, and I got to photograph a Central Park Engagement!
Congratulations Gary & Jenny!!!
